ScaleIT, MB built the Bakas app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by ScaleIT, MB and is intended for use as is.

What Bakas Does

Bakas displays official daily fuel prices across Lithuania sourced exclusively from the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA / ena.lt). Prices are updated every business day. The app does not require registration, does not create user accounts, and does not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

Bakas does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.

Favourites

Stations you mark as favourites are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

Automatically collected information

When you use the Service, we may collect limited technical information through third-party analytics tools, including:

  • Device type, manufacturer, and model
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • General usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used)
  • Crash reports and diagnostic data
  • Country or region (not precise location)

This data is collected in aggregate and anonymised form to help us improve app performance and stability. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

Location data

Bakas does not request or collect your device's GPS location. The "Open in Maps" feature uses the station's address — provided by LEA — to hand off to your device's mapping application. No location data is retained by Bakas.

Data Source

All fuel price data displayed in Bakas is sourced from the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) via ena.lt. We do not modify the price data. ScaleIT, MB is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Lithuanian Energy Agency.

Data Retention

We do not retain personal data on our servers. Analytics data retained by third-party services is subject to their own retention policies. Locally stored favourites remain on your device until you delete the app or clear the app data.

Children's Privacy

Bakas does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.

Security

We are committed to protecting any information processed through our Service. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

The app may contain links to external sites (e.g., ena.lt, mapping applications). These external sites are not operated by us. We have no control over their content or privacy practices and strongly advise reviewing their privacy policies.
